Rob joined IBM to begin his commercial software career, and rose the engineering ranks at Software Publishing before starting his eight-year career at Microsoft. Rob has built software used today in hundreds of millions of PCs worldwide.
After joining with Microsoft CTO Nathan Myhrvold, leaving to form his first post-Microsoft start-up, architect Rob led a team of ten to build distributed application tools, and developed his current passion for networked architectures. Rob is highly skilled in developing fast, scalable and reliable data-backed web services using Microsoft SQL Server, ASP.NET, XHTML/CSS and native code.
Rob has considerable development management experience, leading individuals and teams, and driving core architectures for client applications and business-critical services.
